Gallery Golf Course

Located on Whidbey Island and sporting scenic views of Puget Sound and Mt. Baker, Gallery golf course is well worth a visit – It is U.S. Naval facility also open to the public and as such, is very well maintained – As a brief side note, an active firing range is located within earshot, so the occasional burst of automatic weapons fire adds a unique ambiance while trying to convert a 6-footer for par!
That being said, the course isn’t a brute in terms of length, yet smallish greens, dogleg fairways and elevation changes all combine to make the layout enjoyable while at the same time giving it some teeth
As much as we enjoyed the course, the scenery at the Gallery is truly exceptional – Sitting on a hilltop on the west side of the Island, sweeping views of Puget Sound greet golfers on many of the holes – On clear days, Mount Baker becomes part of the scenery looking to the northeast – As far as amenities go, the Gallery is more than adequate – A driving range and practice green are available and are located very near the 1st tee making warming up before your round easy indeed – Snacks and cold beverages are available in the pro shop along with the usual merchandise – The Duffers deli provides a variety of great fare and makes for a relaxing place to “settle the bets” – The staff were extremely friendly and we really enjoyed our day at the Gallery - For the price, this course represents one of the better deals statewide! - Visit their website at: Click Here
