To say that Gig Harbor native Kyle Stanley had a good day on the links, would be a comical understatement - Stanley threw nine birdies and an eagle at the North Course at Torrey Pines during his opening round at the Farmers Insurance Open - A lone bogey on the 11th still had Stanley atop the heap with his career low round of 10-under 62 - Spencer Levin also got it around in 62 while Bill Haas sits one back after a stellar 63 - The other Washington golfers in the field weren't bad, but paled in comparison to Stanley's performance - Troy Kelly, also on the north course carded a 4-under round of 68 while Richard Lee (even par 72) and Ryan Moore (+3 75) played the more difficult south course - In fact, 15 of the top 16 scores in round one were posted on the north course so all of those who went low during round one will get to deal with the tougher south course in round two - To watch live coverage of the final three rounds on your computer; Click Here - Coverage begins Friday, Sat. & Sun. at 1:00 PM Add new comment
