I've played Gamble Sands Golf Course several times and loved it. Loved it so much that I rank it as my favorite course in Washington State! That says a lot as I don't heap praise lightly. Sitting on a plateau above the mighty Columbia River, sweeping views and panoramic vistas are constant as you make your way around Gamble Sands. Cantered fairways, risk reward, and a few blind tee shots are all part of the magic. As is expected of a high-end golf resort, the course is kept in excellent condition from tee to green. Full practice facilities, and on-site lodging are part of the deal. The Danny Boy restaurant offers up full food & beverage fare complete with an outside patio for enjoying post-round fellowshipping. It's not inexpensive, but worth the dough for sure. Gamble Sands is an absolute must-play for true golf enthusiasts.
