Lake Chelan Golf Course is a municipal gem! I've played Lake Chelan GC several times and rank it as one of the nicer municipal layouts in the state. It rates well in my four categories for rating a course: conditioning, location, layout, and amenities. Overall conditioning at Lake Chelan is above average. The course is well maintained and the greens, while on the small side, putt true. The layout is fun with most of the holes having a unique feel. Very few up & back holes running parallel. There is some elevation change and enough variation forcing use of most clubs in your bag. Amenities include onsite food & beverage, driving range, and power cart rentals. But the best draw of Lake Chelan Golf Course is its location. It's laid out on a hillside overlooking Lake Chelan. Many holes sport post card like views of the lake and surrounding scenery. And is the case with most municipal courses, the pricing is affordable. It can get busy during the sunny months, so call ahead for a tee time. Your comments are welcome below.
