GW Notes: I've played Leavenworth Golf Club several times and had a blast each time. Located at the west end of the Bavarian town of Leavenworth, the course sits on a scenic piece of property with several holes running along the Wenatchee River. The Leavenworth layout is not overly long (just under 5,800 yards from the tips), so it's playable for all who are distance challenged. However tightish fairways, small greens, doglegs, and elevation changes all contribute to test the games of accomplished players. Overall, the course is kept in good condition and the Pub@ the Club keeps you fed and refreshed during your day on the links. If you appreciate courses that play within and embrace their natural surroundings, there may be no better example than Leavenworth Golf Course. - Your thoughts are welcome.
