GW Notes: I’ve not played Rock Island Golf Course but been there to drop off magazines and grab a bite. The pro shop and restaurant overlook the golf course and with a burger and beverage in hand, the layout looks inviting. Water, sand, and willow trees protect the fairways and greens. How problematic they are, I can’t say.
