GW Notes: I’ve not played Trailhead Golf Course although for a 9-hole facility they appear to have a lot going on. In addition to the golf course, they recently opened a new building to house the pro shop and indoor golf simulator. A driving range includes 14 stalls, 10 covered, and 5 are heated. A putting/chipping green, stand-alone putting green and practice bunker all make skill honing convenient and productive. Their website proclaims: “The course is a par 33 with four par 3s, four full length par 4s and one par 5, with four sets of tees to choose from. Longest set of tees at 2,548 yards and shortest at 1,715 yards. The course is fairly open with tree lined fairways, 12 bunkers and one lake. With four sets of tees to choose from, it is a perfect place for beginning players and challenging enough for the better players.” If you’ve played Trailhead GC, please share your thoughts below.
